DRIVER
EDUCATION 15 years
of age - 1/2 credit
Driver Education is offered three
times a year; fall, winter and in the summer.
It consists of a minimal of 30 hours of classroom instruction and at
least 10 hours of actual behind the wheel experience. Driver Education is taught after school, on
Saturdays and during the summer. This
subject is intended to help students develop skills, knowledge and attitudes
that will be the foundation for a lifetime of safe and constantly improving
driving. In addition, this course allows
a substantial reduction in insurance premiums to the young driver who has
successfully completed this course. A
fee of $100.00 will be charged each student.
