ESSA Report Card
All Maine school districts are required to annually notify and educate families about the ESSA Dashboard. The Dashboard link https://www.maine.gov/doe/dashboard will provide you with information about MSAD 20, individual schools in the district, as well as information about other schools in Maine. Examples of what you will have access to via the ESSA Dashboard are: individual school data, such as demographics, per pupil spending, state assessment, teacher qualifications and much more. MSAD #20 is a single town school administrative district serving 470 students in grades Pre-K to 12, with 102 full and part time employees. The School system enjoys strong community support and offers a wide variety of programs and activities. Over 65% of graduates go on to post secondary education.
Fort Fairfield is a neighborhood community located in Central Aroostook County with close proximity to all of the amenities found in larger cities. It is a place where neighbors reach out to neighbors. Fort Fairfield attracts growing families and senior citizens alike. The people of the town value family heritage, support education and recreational opportunities, and enjoy the unique cultural experience of Canada as their neighbor. Settled in 1816, Fort Fairfield is the second oldest community in Aroostook County. Named after Governor John Fairfield in 1839, the community was incorporated in 1858.
